Halfway point Before and Afters- down 16 lbs

Last summer I was tired of my body, I decided to take pictures, get a personal trainer and change things around. Needless to say I didn't stick with that thought of mind for too long and the personal trainer got to be too expensive. Then in March 2011 I got engaged and was determined to lose the weight. Well I finally cracked down in May and began c25k. I was nervous at first because I have NEVER been a runner and I have physically induced asthma. But I have stuck with the program and I am now on week 7- running for 25 minutes straight and have not used my inhaler once!! I still cannot believe I can say I am able to run for 25 minutes! I am posting the pictures from July 2010, June 1 of this year and today July 1. I can finally see how dramatic results can be in a month with portioning meals and sticking to exercising (in my case c25k). I am posting these pictures to continue my motivation and help anyone who needs some encouragment. I'm getting married on 9-10-11 and still have a little ways to go to get to my goal!!
July 2010 around 183 lbs
June 1, 2011 around 174 lbs
Today- July 1, 2011 at 166.8 lbs

OH WOW....look at your cute little waist! Good job. I've always wanted to try C25k but afraid to do it. I'm not a runner either but I love to walk.
Keep up the good work.

You look fantastic!!! Are you only doing C25k three times a week and watching your portions, or are you adding other workouts in too? I started C25k a month ago also, but on week 5, and have been running 4-5 days per week (starting week 8 tomorrow). I'm not really seeing much difference on the scale or in inches. I don't eat a heck of a whole lot either, but can't count calories because it makes me crazy! Any pointers?0
