Hi my name is Catherine and I just joined I am looking to lose just under 100lbs. I just had my 1st child so I am trying to get baby weight off as well as the weight I was trying to lose when I found out I preggo. Looking for any help and motivation.
I am currently walking everyday for 30 mins and then about a 1hr of housework. I am cutting down on my intake and for the most part coming in under my calorie goal but there always those certian days.

Welcome and good luck. I've been on here for a little over a week and already lost six pounds, though I don't expect it to fall off that fast, I defienetly think twice before putting something in my mouth, now that I record it for ALL to see! LOL0

WELCOME!! This site really helps me to seriously think about what I'm eating and how much I exercise! I started about 2 weeks ago and love it (I've lost 8 lbs!!!). I hope it helps you too. Good luck on your journey!0

Just keep persisting with it... my advice would be to mix up your exercise so that you are not getting bored with it and you see it as a bit of fun rather than a chore.
Try, swimming (or even running in water), boxing classes or even joining a gym and getting a personal trainer to take you say once a week and do some weight training with you as that helps with weight loss.
I am a personal trainer and have had my own personal trainer to push me, so i would definately suggest it!!
Just remember to never give up.. the pain of discipline is far less the pain of regret0 -
