Where to buy decent length shorts?

Hi there-

I have been working out and eating right and the weight loss is coming along, however, I'm still very self conscious of my tighs!!! It is so hard to find decent length shorts. Does anyone know where I can get shorts, that dont look like granny shorts (no offense to anyone) that are at least 5" at the inseam??? Its either bermuda shorts, or short shorts! URGH!

Any help would be appreciated!

Shorts like jeans shorts or workout shorts? If you're talking about workout shorts, I just get mens athletic shorts..comfy! As for the other kind..no clue. I don't wear shorts. Maybe Walmart?

I usually buy my workout shorts from the menus section, they reach my knees nicely and don't bunch up if im biking. it's nice

I found that Kohl's has a pretty decent selection of shorts. Check their Women's department, but also check the Juniors and Petite departments as well. All varying lengths. Good luck!

I dont wear shorts because i dont like my legs touching when i workout. lol i wear the fitted capris that i got at target and walmart...

I got a couple cute pairs at Kohl's (... this is the first summer I've worn shorts in 8 years ) they have them in the ladies department as well as the plus section ( don't know what size you need).

i found two really cute pairs of shorts very decent length at ross today. took some time but it was worth the time. 22 dollars for two

I get the bermudas but I know that Old Navy has a middle length short between the bermudas and short shorts. That is--if they still have them in stock.

Thank you Ladies! It's so frustrating to not be able to find shorts to stay modest! I dont care what I look like while working out, I do that at home. But when I'm outside, I want to feel confident and be modest!

Ill try Kohl's and keep looking on websites.

To be honest, I have no patience with shorts and women's styles. I go to the boy's department. Those fall exactly where I want them to. Shorts are formless and genderless. So it really doesn't look odd at all.

Best online company for shorts that are comfortable, breathable, and stylish is Athleta. They can be pricey but if you watch clearance sales you can get great shorts at a good price.

i love old navy for mid-length shorts...they usually carry the 5" inseam so i don't feel over-exposed or like i am trying to dress too young
