A little win- a different way of thinking

Yesterday I was doing fine with my food and exercise -went swimming and that is one of my higher calorie exercises, so going into dinner, I had 1200 calories banked. We were going out to dinner - nothing special - just nothing prepped in the house as it was the end of the week.
So, we go to our usual local spot, and the board says "Special: Sanders Hot Fudge Cream Puff with Butter Pecan Ice Cream."
Well, in my family, a hot fudge cream puff isn't just dessert - it is special - it is Mom. I managed to order a nice light & healthy meal, as did my husband, who has been doing well kind of following me on this journey. But he wanted that dessert.
So, if we split it, it's not so bad.
But then the waitress points out that the ice cream bar is really frozen yogurt, so that is not so bad.
So, I have her substitute the butter pecan ice cream w/ frozen yogurt, and then we split - more than 60/40.
When I logged it here, it wasn't all that many calories for something that REALLY hit the spot as a treat, and I still came in under calories because of the exercise.
Got on the scale today - 2 lbs down. We would have agreed to split the dessert in the past, but it never would have occurred to us to ask for the yogurt instead of the ice cream, or to tell her to hold the whipped cream. And we both felt like we had a real treat!
