Things I've noticed

I'm into my 4th week back at MFP and it's going quite well. But the past couple of days I've really noticed a couple of things.
I make cupcakes. REALLY good cupcakes! usually for birthdays or as a treat. I made some this week & was going to have one as a treat(my calories allowed for it!) But I couldn't eat it!:noway: It was far too sweet for me! (unheard of as I'm the kind of girl that could eat triple choc fudge cake for breakfast!) I managed just about a half & passed it to my other half to finish off.
I think it's because I've been really good with my diet lately and have cut out all sweet treats.
2nd thing is I had some pretty bad news re work today. Could have been worse, but was bad enough to make me feel like I needed a glass or two :drinker: AND I've only had a couple of glasses & it feels like a couple of bottles!! (well maybe a Bottle!) And again I think it's because my bodies not had any alcohol for a few weeks either!
Isn't it amazing how quickly out bodies adapt & change to what we put in them?

I have noticed the same thing with sweets!! It could be the simplest thing as a fiber bar...and I don't even know if I can finish it. Soda as well. I know they make diet coke with splenda ( I have seen it) but I can't find it anywhere so i get stuck with regular diet coke and that is even sweet. =]0

Amazing isn't it?!
Some things I've noticed - I feel squiffy after half a glass of wine - it's been so long since I've had more than one!! :drinker:
Today I climbed six flights of stairs at the multi storey car park in town and barely puffed!! Before I would have struggled half way up and had to rest - or just take the lift!!
Feels good!! Well done to us all!! :drinker:0 -
That's great, but wait until the day comes when you get some bad news (hopefully, that won't be often) and the first thing you think of is, "I need take a walk"....then you'll really be blown away!0

That my friend would be a miracle!!!! Cheers!:drinker:0 -
I have noticed the same thing recently. I can no longer stand diet soda as it is far too sweet.....same goes for sugar free coffee syrups. I have not had any true sweets in a while so I am sure they would put in a sugar coma0

I had two beers the other night and I was pretty much drunk! I used to could drink eight beers and not even feel that drunk. I guess you drink less when you weigh less!0
