Is it THAT bad to be under your calories?!

    I agree... DO NOT take this advice... I have a hard time eating the calories back... but your body HAS to have at least 1200 calories to do what it needs to do.

    Nope, I'm just counting regular calories (not counting with the work out extra cals) and am only hitting between 550-650 a day. I'm lucky if I hit 700. But, I AM eating super clean, almost all unprocessed foods.

    I have a friend who was eating that number of calories to diet. Yes she lost weight (she even appeared in a magazine!) but every time she eats normally her weight just balloons. Her body thinks it has to hold onto any spare calories, just in case another 'famine' (diet) comes along.

    Losing weight slower with more calories gives you a better chance of keeping the weight off. Unless you want to diet for the rest of your life, I wouldn't go there!
