Away at a conference for 3 days

Hi I'm at a conference for 3 days from tomorrow... all of which is catered. Nightmare! How on earth do I track things!

    I did this last month.
    It was mostly buffet so I filled most of my plate with veggies first, then allowed myself a few bites of the higher calorie dishes in very small portions. I was lucky. My conference was in southern California so the options were reasonably healthy. I also allowed myself one desert during the 3 days but avoided the breads. When breakfast was Danishes, I split one with my friend. Always have water at your table during sessions.

    Being away doesn't mean you can't eat anything you want. Just eat smart and stick to portion control. Moderation not Deprivation is the key. Good Luck

    Really, really hard to do! Between the options and normally not-so-healthy chocies and trying to figure out calories based upon what's here and how it was actually prepared! Yikes! Try your best and be cautious of portions if you're not sure on how it was prepped or the actual ingrediaents. It will be OK; it's only 3 days, but I know how you are feeling.
