Anyone who's doing/has done P90X Lean!

Hey guys!
I'm getting near the end of C25K! Starting Week 8 first thing on Tuesday (28 Minute Runs straight --- YAY)!
I've been really looking into starting P90X Lean possibly... I wanted to get all the feedback I can about the program, I'm going to be moving into dorms soon... so I don't know if I'll need a bunch of room or what... since I'll have to do it in my room xD!
So... what are some things I'll need? Total cost of the program? DVD's? Equipment? Etc?
How did you guys like it?! Or liking it?!

I've done P90X Lean! It depends on what you're trying to achieve. If you've already lost all or most of the weight you wanted and you're now going for muscle definition, it's perfect. Although I enjoyed, it wasn't the best thing for me because I was trying to lose 10-15 pounds. Since it focuses SO much on strength training, there isn't as much cardio as there should be. I noticed I was feeling healthier but I was not decreasing in pants size. I did notice my arms and quads more muscular, but I wanted to be thinner before I added on muscle.
I do insanity now, I am almost done with month one and I love it! You shed sweat, it's hard, the workouts are shorter than P90X and it's only 60 days long as opposed to 90. Believe me, if you follow it, you won't need more than 60 days. I've had great results so far. What I love most about it is that you don't need anything besides yourself, a HR monitor, and A LOT of water.

First off the total cost you would need to spend isn't that bad. Of course you will need to buy the P90X DVD's which will run you about $125. And as far as gear. You need resistance bands. You could probably find a decent set for around $20-$30 bucks. I also recommend a pull up bar. Which is around $50. It's not something you have to have.. but it's very helpful. You could also look into dumbbells instead of the bands. Like more expensive and take up more room.. but imo overall bettter option.
I use like a 6x6 space and had plenty of room to do my workouts for the most part. And I love P90X! I lost around 35 lbs and dropped 2 pants sizes. It's a great program if you stick with it! Feel free to add me if you have any other questions or concerns.0 -

Insanity is a wonderful program and I do recommend it to people. The only problem I have with it is it's pure cardio. Outside push ups and basic strength moves, you really aren't doing much for building muscle. And muscle is what burns fat!
Insanity is the cheaper route for those concerned about money and the need to buy extra equipment. But really isn't not a huge difference. Also it's for people who are in somewhat decent shape to begin with. After doing Insanity (and now Asylum) I find P90X's cardio way to easy. But when I first started these programs, I never would have been able to do Insanity! Even CardioX was a too much.
The reason I like P90X more then Insanity is it's more balanced. You have your strength training, cardio (which is really hard for some) and yoga. A couple different workouts for core..0
