Birth control and weight loss question...

So far in my journey i have lost 19 lbs in 3 and a half months. my problem is, that i have only been losing 2 sometimes 3 weeks out of the month. I have heard that menstrual cycles can play a part in the phenomenon however im unsure as to whether or not my nuva ring counteracts that theory. if anyone using hormone based contraceptives has also experienced this, it may help in my decision to try a different approach. any help is appreciated, thank you!

I was taking the pill, LoEstrin 24, and while on it I lost weight. Completely changed my appetite, I was hardly every hungry! I've been off it for a few months though and the appetite has definitelly come back!
