My muscles ache...carry on?

I did day 2 of level 2 30 day shred a couple of days ago. It killed my abdominal muscles and they still hurt. I had a rest day from the shred yesterday but did some cardio. Should I start again today and work through the pain or would it be more beneficial to give my muscles a chance to recover??

aches are good shows that you have worked the muscles, so long as just an ache and not pain then carry on, you are just achieving results and the workout will help the muscles and aches settle down,. the more often you do it the less aches you will have and they won't last as long.

Abs are probably the only muscle that can ache and it's okay to keep pushing through it.. Keep going! The burn is letting you know you are doing it right!0

Listen to your body, it tells you what it needs/wants. Muscle growth/repair happens during "rest" so it's really important to have a good nights' sleep. Tina is right, abs (and calves) can be pushed hard just about every-other day. Other body parts (chest, legs, lats, shoulders) should really be given some time to repair themselves before hitting them again.
