Can someone help with rice servings?

How much rice is a normal serving? and is this dried or cooked weight?

I've looked up my basmatti rice on the database and it only has either 100g or 1g......but I have no idea how much I should be having per portion and as I said, whether it's cooked or uncooked weight.

Thanks for your help

    This link should help you!

Also, not sure if you can taste the differences in rice, but try some of the Sushi rices. I like sticky rice and the flavor is better in my opinion!

    Good luck!

Always dry unless it specifies "cooked" which is rare.

    Calories

One serving (3/4 of a cup prepared) of basmati rice contains 150 calories.

A 'normal' serving on my bag of tesco long grain rice is 75g before its cooked. That works out as a fair bit when its cooked, and i think was about 240 cals.
