I have a stationary bike that has movable hands (like an elliptical). I can change cadence. I can use only the peddles like a normal bike, or both hands and peddles or hands alone.

Can someone tell me how each of these are logged and the benefits?

Here is a photo of a similar one :

it's an air-dyne bike.... you can look under that and if it isn't there, I would just log it under stationary bike/cycle. You can put it under vigorous if you use your arms, you know how hard you worked, and how hard you had your heart going. Good Luck!!!!! You can also log it in under cardio or aerobics.

I have one of those. I just log it under stationary bike usually under light (w/o moving arms) or moderate effort (w/ arms). As for benefits, I've definitely seen more toning in my thighs. The air resistance makes it a good workout.

Thanks! I am LOVING my bike. I am not sure the HRM is accurate but I really work up a heavy sweat and my breathing is for sure raised.

It is wicked hard at times. I started at just 5 minutes. Now I can go 17 - 20 minutes without stopping.
