I always thought bread was high in carbs...but MFP says it's not, and lists homemade bread with zero carbs. This can't be right, can it? I know, I know, white bread is not the type to eat...but just asking! I haven't had ANY bread for three weeks, and am always coming in too low on my daily 1200 calorie limit...can I eat bread? Thanks..you guys are all so helpful!

If it's "homemade bread," then it's something someone has made and entered, so don't use it because you have no idea what they did with it.

Also, any bread is high in carbs BUT whole wheat bread is good carbs, complex carbs, and your body needs those to function. So stick to whole grains or whole wheat and you'll be fine.

Don't just go off what's in the database.
There are many errors and sometimes people don't put in a complete nutrition account.
Double check info in database if you have a label.
Use this site (or another one you like): http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-calculator.asp
    for personal recipes.

I couldn't survive without bread...carbs are not bad, just stick to whole grain breads.
