Just had some KFC grilled stuff, and WOW. I remember years ago, before KFC started doing grilled, I was enjoying their regular/ original fried chicken as a teenager. Now after only a few weeks of eating healthy-ish (I still have a long way to go), I'm having a hard time swallowing and digesting their grilled stuff.
First ate a drumstick. That wasn't too bad. Saltier than I'd like, but otherwise decent.
Then ate a breast. Too greasy for a chicken breast, and still salty, but... it was edible.
Then I tried a thigh. HOLY CANTALOUPES... I had trouble forcing it go down my throat instead of up, and couldn't bring myself to finish it, especially the skin and the visible lumps of fat stuck to it. Now I feel like there's a solid blockade in my digestive tract.
Immediately after the thigh, I ate some steamed broccoli to counter the badness, which was silly in retrospect since my stomach finds broccoli just as hard to digest (although for different reasons). I hope I won't throw up today
I can still handle fast food burgers, and I still enjoy fries as long as they came out of fresh oil. But this KFC stuff? I'm sticking to homemade grilled skinless breasts from now on, thanks. :noway:

I hear ya.
I used to eat Wendy's grilled chicken sandwich, all the time. Haven't had one in ages. Then about a month ago (after eating healthier for about 6 months) I got one. It was so icky-like chemically tasting. I dunno how else to describe it.
I guess, if you believe the guy how did "Super Size Me" it's not really food anyway, it's food like substances from all the fast food places...that's how they are so consistent from location to location.
I guess if I enjoyed it, I'd have one now and then, but YUCK.0 -
I love KFC fried chicken, even now. However, I can only eat one small piece before I'm full, like a chicken leg. My body simply will not allow me to eat more than that.
I can't stand the taste of anything sweet now. Artificially sweet, naturally sweet, it doesn't matter. Sweet = gross!0 -

I'm giving all the leftover skin, fat and flesh to my dog. I'm totally sabotaging my dog's diet :laugh:0
