Haha I had a little giggle this afternoon. I made my boyfriend take pictures of me in just my underwear earlier from the front, back and side. As sexy as it sounds believe me that was not the intention! I figured that a picture diary was a great way to measure your progress also, so you can actually see the reduction in size as well as weight. I'd defo recommend it, I nearly died when I realised I had back boobs as well as front ones! ;-)

I HATE BACK-BOOBS! I'm working hard on losing them myself!
I had a shirt on this morning, a very light pink shirt. As I was about to leave the house I glanced at the mirror and returned the shirt back to it's hanger. I could see the bumps on my back.

Pictures are not fun to take but can do wonders for motivation. I take mine by myself, in a mirror, with the door locked! I admire you for having your boyfriend do it for you....

seriously funny! Sadly enough for me I have so many sets of back boobs that they actually may qualify as back teets- luckily I don't have a litter of piglets around or they may mistake me for their mommy

Omg! I do that too. I have a picture progress diary. The other day I went through it definitely can see changes. Seeing those changes really pushes you harder for your future goals.

I have the initial picture that set me off on wanting to be healthier & happier (from January this year). I also have pictures that have been taken throughout the year. I find it helps me realise that yes, I am losing weight, I am getting healthier & although I may not see it each day in the mirror, the change is still there & I'm doing well.
I don't have back pictures though.. I can barely work my camera, let alone figure out how to do back pictures by myself!

Sooze - light shirts I hate them too, never get them out! I wonder what exercises focus on the back? I've always been interested to know but have never bothered to find out, when I should because thats the bit of my body that really gets to me! I act brave in front of the boyfriend and pretend my weight doesn't bother me too much, he won't be able to love me if I don't love me!

JeninBelgium - hehe your post made me laugh out loud! We should embrace the back boobs really, most of us women have them to be fair!

Spacegirlz - Glad you can see the changes, hopefully I will be able to too soon! :-)

annrum - Glad you are doing well, thats what I thought you can never tell in the mirror because your eyes adjust everyday so pictures work best! I'm sure there will be a timer on your camera somewhere, ask the question google I'm sure it will help you! x

There probably is a timer somewhere... but it took 4 of us on Friday night to find the flash! (Yes, we had been drinking... I'm sure there might be a correlation there!)

Haha yes probably! It's funny getting new cameras! Speaking of drinking, I'm just wondering if I have saved enough calories for a large glass of wine today! I bet I haven't! I better start jogging to earn them!!!

Well, I've been doing a lot of pushups and pullups (assisted!) through P90X and I really see a difference on my back. I also do a kickboxing class which consists of a lot of punching too, which I really feel in my back the following day!

I notice that the more I lose weight, I am more critical of these bumps. I lost like 30lbs and I don't remember noticing back-boob problem when I was 30lbs heavier. sad really.

Go see the picture on my profile and there is a slight difference on my back. Try doing pushups and pullups.

Oh my gosh you can see the difference though!!! They are nearly gone! 30lbs lost? Thats fantastic!
Punching is a great idea, I have some boxing gloves knocking around somewhere too! I am going to write out a new exercise promgramme this evening I think, I'm a girl on a mission!!

I feel the same way. I've been feeling fatter at 159# than I did at 185# because when I was heavier, I mostly didn't care. I'm starting to see skinny me though. :D

I am convinced that 50% of my success has been MFP and the other 50% has been taking a series of pictures. There were a couple of times where I didn't think anything was happening, but when I put the pictures side by side, I couldn't deny it. I did one set in my underwear, which was even more motivating.

I'm terrified to see myself in a almost naked picture. I might cry!

I felt the same but on the other hand that's why I did it! It has given me the biggest kick up the backside ever!
