    No the numbers here are low. I usually have over 100 grams a day.

    I have to agree with Anna. I think they're a little low myself. I eat a lot of protein throughout the day and usually go over by 50g or more.
  • My husband has told me that body builders and anyone who is maintaining muscle mass will eat about 1 gram of protein for every pound that they weigh. BUT if you are trying to loose weight and at the same time tone up then you should have anywhere from 1/3-1/2 of your body weight in grams of protein for everytime that you would work out. Protein helps burn cals. and gives your muscles what they need to get you through your complete work out. Have you ever noticed that when you have gone over your protein for the day(s) you will actually eat less and lose more weight. I have started to eat about 90 grams of protein this week for the days I don't work out and for the day's I do I will be getting about 115 grams of protein. So I am going to see how this works out.
