My Milestone and Story....

Tomorrow will mark a huge day for me! 1 Year tomorrow I started a new job. When I decided to change jobs, I also decided it was time to change myself! In the first 3 months of my new job I was able to lose 33 pounds. At the end of February this year a friend turned me onto MFP. Since then I have been able to lose 42 pounds. That is a total of 75 pounds in 1 year!
I will first start by saying I am extremely proud of myself! It all started with me!!!!
If you don't think you need support on your journey like I did, you will hit a plateau! So thank you to all those on this site who have been such an amazing inspiration and such a great support system!
I had amazing support from all the wonderful ladies I go to the gym with and I often tell them they have helped me so much! They always tell me, it was all me. The truth is, they really did inspire me to keep on going!!!
My words of wisdom- eat...eat all the time....okay not all the time.....if someone had told me 6 months ago that eatting more would help me accomplish this amazing goal I would have laughed in their faces! I now truly understand what it means to live a balanced lifestyle!
I say it all the time but this was not a diet....the word "die" is in diet.....this was a lifestyle change and learning about portion control and making good choices!
I drink my beer, I eat my treats, I enjoy life!!!!! It does work! It can work, if you want it to work......
My biggest pet peeve is excuses.....when you stop making them you can change! This is what I have learned!!!! I stopped with the excuses and was successful!!!!
You have to be happy with 1-2 pounds a week.....its the right way to lose the weight....it took me 20 years to gain the weight and I finally understood it was not going to come off over night!!!!!
I have never felt this great about myself and what I have accomplished!
My last words....anyone can do it! You just need to believe in yourself and ask for support from friends and family or MFP!!!!!!!!
Thanks for reading and thanks again for all the support....the journey is not done for me but I know the last 13 pounds will go!!!!!
