Before I started MFP I couldn't stand more than 5 or 10 minutes
without starting to get a backache.
Tonight I stood and made my dinner and barely had any pain.
I started MFP a week and a half ago. That's what happens when you're less sedintary.
WOO HOO!!!

awesome! I love this NSV (non scale victory). This is about so much more than the number on the scale.
Good for you!

Great accomplishment. It will get easier as time goes. After i lost 10lbs i realized it was easier to go to the outdoor mall with my husband and walk the whole thing without getting tired and feeling soar afterwards. Keep up the good work.0

That's so awesome! I'd say you've broken the seal on exercise now! Soon, the floodgates will open, & here comes the activity! All in a FLOOD! Going for walks... taking the stairs... walking the mall (aimlessly) just to enjoy the free A/C... For me? The big one was cleaning out the cupboard under the stairs. HUGE task... took me two days... oh yeah... each of those days? Three hours of crawling in there, & back out & opening boxes, discarding/donating stuff I hadn't had out in 3 years & forgot I even owned. Oh yeah. Believe me... it feels GOOD! Woo Hoo!
Celebrate baby! It's only just begun to feel GOOD!0 -

Congrats! I come from a very similar situation. Before starting, I would be out of breath just walking into my job or house from the car. Now I can walk 15-20 minutes without a problem. Keep up the great work.
P.S. Check out my sig, I guess great minds think alike,lol.0
