    I take 1000mg a day. 2 pills, 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening when I actually remember. I never knew there was any connection between metaformin and PCOS. I was diagnosed with PCOS years ago. When I asked my doctor what I could do about it, he said "you're fat. Lose weight." Nice doc huh? I left in tears thinking that that is what I had to do. To depressed to actually look up information about it, I just continued dieting. (though I recently read that PCOS can actually hamper dieting efforts) I was put on metformin for my diabetes in July 2006. I never really had any sysmptoms.
