Why would wrapping yourself up like a sandwich help you lose weight?

I'm not judging - I'm just sincerely curious about this concept.
  • Apprantly it helps you sweat and lose more weight but the weight you lose extra is just water so it doesn't help in the long run. x

    # 1 as Heather said.....Id feel to much like a sandwich waiting to be eaten

Love...Please don't do this....it is only water weight and if you are not careful you can become severely dehydrated..

I think its the same concept as using the belly band or neoprene shorts that walmart sales. While it is only losing water weight, it makes you sweat more in that certain area and while you drink your fluids back in, I don't think its all distributed in the one place when you drink it. I've been using the neoprene band around my stomach for months while I work out and I'm down 8.5 inches in my stomach. I don't contribute it all to using that band but I think it helps. Even if its just a psychological thing of seeing all the sweat in it, it makes me want to keep going.
