Starting again!

Hi-
Its a new month and I'm starting again anew. Is anyone adding exercise instead of dropping calories to get more of a weight loss?
I've been tracking for a couple of months and keep fluctuating on the same 5 lbs back and forth. I quit smoking last month so I think my metabolism may have slowed down more than I realized with the same amount of food.
I'm going to try and only drink on the weekends too and see if that helps.
Anyone else having trouble with the first 5?
