As i'm very close to gw i have been wondering (worrying) if i go up to my normal maintenence calories will i start gaining weight again, as it's currently a 500 cal deficit - should i increase my calories slowly and not in one big jump?
Help please!

Congrats on your progress thus far. When you are down to your last 10-15 lbs you should set your goal at 0.5lbs/week. This does 2 things, keeps your deficit smaller so your burn less muscle as you lose the last few pounds, the closer you are to your goal the more your body tries to hang on to the fat it does have and will burn muscle instead. The second thing is does is get you ready for maintenance without shocking your system. I would advise you to change to 0.5lbs/week loss goal now, and then move to maintenance when you are a lb or 2 below your goal weight, this allows you some room for fluctuations.0
