Quick question, I used a Cybex trainer at the gym today instead of my usual elliptical..it was crazy, great workout. It isn't coming up in the exercise log, so what kind of machine is this? Cross trainer? Elliptical?

A little of both on the cybex unit, but a good rule of thumb is 10 calories per minute of cardio exercise for the calories burned. Hope that helps.0

Cybex makes all kinds of equipment, including cardio & strength training. My guess would be that you used their Arc Trainer, which is neither an elliptical or a stepper. Go to http://www.cybexintl.com/products/cardio/ArcTrainers.aspx to see the Arc Trainer & all the other Cybex equips.0

I would pay attention to what the machine says, I have a HRM and find I burn a bit less then what it says. I am assuming you are talking about the Arc Trainer, i made a new entry for it.0
