Best Way/Time to Exercise?

Hey all :) So, currently my workout routine has me doing 25-30 minutes on the elliptical or treadmill and then doing inner and outer thighs, shoulders, and abs.

First question: Is it better to start with cardio then do weights, or vice-versa?

Second question: What is the best time of day to work out, morning, afternoon, or evening?

Thanks! :)

The answer to both questions is whatever works best for you and your schedule. As long as you are putting in the work you'll see the results.

Exercise when you are most likely to be consistent. (for me, that's morning.) I have seen a lot of "experts" say you should do weights first, then cardio. But I actually prefer to do a bit of cardio first to get my heartrate up then do the weights then finish with a longer cardio if I have time.

I work out at night because it fits into my schedule. And with which one I do first, I vary it. If I've been doing cardio first then strength, I'll switch it up for a while and do strength then cardio. It really depends on what works for you. :flowerforyou:

According to something I read somewhere a few weeks ago, Its best to do 30 minutes of cardio first, then do weights. And as for the best time of the day, some people say around 4-6pm is the best time of day to work out because apparently you boost your level of performance. But as for sticking to an exercise "habit" the best time is in the morning, because your most likely to stick to it if you get it out of the way early in the day.
