Why is it that when I gey so tired I can barely keep my eyes open I feel a craving for something really bad for me!!
I am shattered tonight and had to go to the supermarket where I picked up a huge pizza!
Is there a way to break this pattern?
Thanks
Luv Kat

I always make sure i have some 'special treat' in the house so that when i have to eat, at least it is something that i have planned in advance. Also, don't ever go to the store tired, or hungry, or mad. Just don't. Ever. Really.0

try to find somthing good for you that "feels" like a treat. I like mini ice cream sandwiches - they only have 100 calories and hey - its still an ice cream sandwich!0

If you are at that point where you are that tired you need to say bring it on willpower and just go to bed. Or try to have a light snack in the house like fruit or something airy like rice cakes.0

Ya know alot of folks do this....eat when they really just need to sleep! when the body is tired we naturally grab carbs....and usually terribly processed unhealthy ones.
My advice - when you are tired, just sleep. Wake up refreshed have a nice meal and then see how things feel!

Can you do something else that makes you feel equally good, but isn't food related? Like calling a friend/sibling, or reading a book, taking a bath, or taking the time you would be going to the grocery store to take a short walk to wake yourself up a little?
I also agree with people about not going to the grocery store when you are hungry, emotionally drained (or overcharged), or craving something!0
