Hi everyone. I am thinking about signing up for a kettlebell bootcamp and trying to get my mom in it with me. She has carpal tunnel and wasn't sure if she can do it. I tried to find some info but can't really find too much. I have never tried kettleball myself so I don't how strenuous it is or if she gets a smaller weight if it would be ok. I really want to go with her so I'm hoping that it isn't a problefm! Thanks for any info!

Definitely start with low weights! You'll understand why halfway through your first session!

I have tendonitis in my elbow and KBs are helping to ease the pain. Not sure about CTS though.

I get tendinitis all the time. If I teach class, I tape my wrists (you can find good tape methods online). If I do push-ups for instance I do them on my knuckles and don’t bend my wrist. It comes and goes, but this way I can continue exercising. Just tell the instructor about it and he/she will show you how to avoid aggravation of the condition.
