Summer Work-out Slum??

So for the past year I have been working hard towards my weight-loss. About 6 months ago I found MFP which has helped out immensely. My work-outs have improved and I have even found a new interest in running, I actually enjoy it! BUT for the past 3 weeks I just can't bring myself to get to the gym. I have been continuing to run a couple times a week but my work outs are no where as great as they should be.
I just don't have the gumption to get to the gym. I don't know if its the hot weather, the busy fun of the summer or what it is? Does anyone else have this problem?? Any suggestions to get out of this slum?? Thanks!!

This is exactly what I have been struggling with! My car broke down so I can't make it to the gym and I have been doing my workouts at home. It seems I have to talk myself into it a little more each day and it is pissing me off!!! I am too damn close to quit now. I haven't missed any workouts, but I don't feel like I am giving it the focus I deserve. i need to break out of the rut and get my energy back, just not sure how. I am to close to the finsh line to give in though!0

I can't afford a gym membership so I run outside. I got before 10a to beat the heat and sometimes it sucks being out there, I feel great afterwards. I remember the after feeling that that helps me lace up my shoes.0

That is exactly how I feel! I have worked so hard and feel like I have slide backwards. I know I haven't slid back that far, but 3 weeks of minimal effort its just making it difficult to get back going hard.
I wish I could be up early enough to beat the heat. I have tried numerous times to get up before work (which starts at 7), but have never been successful! Nights about 730-8ish I try to go for the run when the heat is getting lower.
Summers = frustration!!0
