    I have LOADS of energy.

    I really don't stress about food. No guilt and no deprivation.

    Even my whippet has got to a proper whippet size as he has been running with me:happy:

    Me too with the energy.

    I know it's great!!!

    LOL!!!

    Today I am wearing a pair of size 12 trousers and they actually fit! I am so chuffed because I bought these over 3 months ago and was horrifed when I couldn't even get the zip up!

    I haven't lost much weight using MFP but I am losing inches and I am noticing my thighs slowly turning into muscle. I am finding the fact that not only could I really be the size that I want I can be fit too!

    I have a bum!! haha. My whole life I've pretty much had my bum and my thighs as one entity, no distinction between them! But yesterday I caught myself in the mirror at work and noticed that my bum didn't blend into my thighs! I actually had a butt! HAHA. So lame, but I'm excited about it :D
  • LOL I've had the firm bum compliment from my husband recently, too! :bigsmile:

    Today I'm wearing jeans that are between sizes (12-14 UK). I've been a 14 for so long, and these smaller ones are looking and feeling loose on me - yay!

    I'm also running out of holes on my belt loop!

    Even my boss commented that my new regime was clearly working :happy:

    There, that's the last couple of weeks, filled with NSVs :smile:

    Well the other week I took my work trousers off without undoing them, just because I could :laugh: I had to make three extra holes in my belt on Monday :smile: My hubby keeps telling me how skinny I'm getting :love: (I'm nowhere near skinny!)

    And an odd one .... my dear mother who is always on at me about my weight told me at the weekend 'oh yes, you can definitely see a difference - your ankles are thinner.' Nowhere else, just my ankles :huh:

    Had to call the Doc yesterday - blood pressure is dropping dangerously low (a positive outcome). Due to exercise and diet one blood pressure medication removed. One to go. Will be great to get off all these medications!

    My victories are..........

    1) My shorts, and capris, are getting baggier. Im constantly pulling them up..I really need a belt! :happy:
    2) I have a pair of capris that I can just slip off w/o having to unsnap.
    3) I crave exercise! It's the first thing I think about before getting out of bed in the mornings. If Im somewhere and can't exercise, it pretty much drives me crazy! I never thought I would see the day where I would look forward to exercising...HUGE victory!!
    4) My face looks thinner (so I've been told).
    5) My calves are taking shape and I think they look hot...can I say that about myself? :blushing:

    ~~~~~Not really a victory, but I have to share this~~~~
    I have MFP set up so it posts my exercise on my FB page. Because of that, I have had at least 5 friends join MFP! Some even saying that Im inspiring them!! Can you believe that?? I was never one to think that I could inspire anyone to do anything like this, but I guess I do. One friend, a marathon runner, who runs race after race said I was an inspiration to her! You could have picked me up off of the floor. Im the one that was always in such awe of her!!! Dang! Makes me all teary eyed! :heart:
    That's a fabulous one! While I take a lot more pills these days than I did before weight loss, what I'm taking now are vitamins. Haven't had to take any cholesterol medication since my DS (weight loss surgery) in 2005. My triglycerides in 2002 were 650 (before I had to start taking meds). Today - they are 111 (range 30-150) without meds. (This is an old NSV, but mentioning it because I *know* you can get there - I've done it)
    My recent NSV would be having someone refer to me as "a tiny little thing." Now, I'm short - under 5' tall - but when I was under 5' AND 300 lbs, no one ever referred to me as tiny.
    That's great!! My bp has been on the higher end ever since being diagnosed w/thyroid disease. At my last appt. he said since there is family history of hbp, chances were that I would end up on medication as well. I joined here that same day in hopes that I can avoid that pill!!
    I often look at old pictures of myself, and there is one trip to NYC from years ago that I marvel at, thinking "I hope that I'm that skinny again some day."
    Here's the NSV: Over the weekend, I found an old pair of pants in the back of the closet, and they fit great! They were actually almost too big... and at some point during the day of wearing them, I realized that these were worn by me in that NYC trip!!! Is it possible that I'm that skinny again already?! How exciting. :-)
    THIS IS GREAT. I have a family member who struggles with high blood pressure and would love to be able to leave the medication behind. So glad that you've been able to get off of a medicaton. Congrats! And keep going, my friend! :-D
    Good job everyone on all of your accomplishments!! You are all doing so great. It always feels awesome when you know what your doing is working!!
    Now for my NSV--- I no longer fit in any of my clothes, not even the ones that were to small. Monday I put on the smallest pair of shorts I own and the were baggy. It's about time to buy something smaller!! I'm trying to hold out 10 more lbs. We will see if I make it that far.
    I was playing Dance Central on the XBox with my son...and my pants *almost* fell off when doing the 'torch' because they were so baggy. :blushing:
    Also, I TOTALLY BEAT HIM. :drinker:
    This is a NSV and a doh moment.
    I bought all Old Navy size 8 jeans, but now that they are washed I probably should have bought size 6.
    I bought a fab teal one shoulder dress a few months ago without trying it on. Big mistake. It was not that i needed to lose a few pounds. I needed to lose a WHOLE lot of pounds. I thought it would never fit me. I am going to a wedding this weekend and had tried every shop looking for a dress but could find nothing. I saw the dressing hanging in the wardrobe and thought it will never ever fit i might as well give it away but guess what it bloody fit !!!!!
    The last 10 days my blood pressure has been lower, today 128/68, another day 119/68. A few times I've even felt a little woozy because it's never that low even with the medication I've been on for a few years. I check it daily at work so my Dr. can review on my next appointment. Because I've only lost 15 lbs so far I think this is due to the better eating. It's a great incentive to keep going.
    Also I was able to wear a pair of capris to work yesterday that were just a little too snug to wear last summer.
    I went to a restaurant a couple weeks ago, and the waiter accidentally handed me the kids menu -- and NO, I do not dress like a child in the least. :drinker:
    A man that same week asked my mom at a fair if I would be interested in a study group.....for 13 year olds. :drinker:
    Saw a friend for the first time in 1 year and one of her first comments was, "You're...so short!" (I love being short) :drinker:
    I am interested in anti/reverse aging as well as shrinking in height as well as in losing weight. No weight lose nsvs yet but the other things made me really happy! :bigsmile:
    I tracked "bad" food I ate earlier this week. I hated doing it because psychologically I hate seeing myself go over on my calorie goal but the fact that I was honest with myself was a big NSV for me!
