Hi,
My name is Simon, and I'm a chocoholic
Over period of about 6 years, I managed to get to 19 1/2 stone (273 lbs). I decided that I needed to something about it, so cut out a few things from my diet (like fizzy drinks) and started doing some gym workouts. I managed to lose about 2 1/2 stone over about 6 months. My OH had stared doing lighter life around the same time, and lost about 5 stone, so I thought I'd give it a try. And it worked. I got down to about 13 1/2 stone. I was so happy (profile pic)! Still wasn't under BMI 25, but I felt happy. I stopped LL and went back to food - and guess what... 6 months later ended up back at 17 stone.
I am now doing this the way I should have - carrying on with the diet changes and gym. I'm happy to say I'm now down to about 15 1/2 stone, and it's still going in the correct direction - downwards.
I've recently changed gyms - and my new local is fantastic. Much better range of equipment, and the personal trainer has not only given me a good programme to work too, but also made some diet suggestions - that's more than the last place did
Anyway, I just wanted to give anyone out their my brief weight history - you never know, it might just help someone somewhere
I'm loving the Android App - I use it every day to track my foods, and it's really highlighted the bad points of my diet
