Okay, I sit at a desk for most of my day. This job of mine really isnt active at all. Sometimes when I get up my tail bone is in excrutiating pain like someones just kicked me in the *kitten*! Is this common for desk workers??

One of the old ladies who works with me says that this happens to women who gave birth naturally. I dont know how true that is but what can I do to help this??

Any Idea?

maybe try sitting on a pillow..
My daughter broke hers and has to sit on one at school sometimes because the chairs are too hard..
*On a side note its kinda ironic that the ad I have running next to your post is about tailbone pain!*

I had the same problem when I started losing weight and exercising. It felt like I was sitting on knives. I found that the only thing to help was to sit up and make sure the pressure was on my hip bones and not my tailbone and give it time to heal. I think a pressure bruise formed and it took months before it didn't hurt anymore.
