Hey there,
I am new to the site, as of about a week and a half ago. But I love it! I have been pretty good so far about tracking my food/exercise thanks to smartphones. I have always been pretty good about exercise, but nutrition is my downfall. I know all of the right things to eat, I just get to a point after about a week of eating great that I fall off the wagon! Ahhh. So frustrating. So this is my honest attempt to really crack down on myself. I LOVE to ski and mountain bike. I am a total thrill seeker and want to look the way I feel! Anyone else in the same boat? (Stupid question, I am sure) but I love hearing about others that may feel just like me!
Best of luck to all of you in your weight loss goals.

Ah, a fellow chocoholic after my own heart! Yes, I think many of us (even the old ladies) are fairly dedicated to the exercise, it's the food that is so hard to control. Good luck with your journey and welcome to MFP! Cheryl0

For me, it really helps to avoid that vicious cycle by not depriving myself of the things I really enjoy. I've had the same problem in the past - eat really well and exercise for a week (or even 2 or 3) and then all of a sudden I can'd stand it any more and give in to the cravings and totally backslide.
Find a way for some good dark chocolate to fit into your daily calories so you don't have that craving induced binge. Even if it means an extra 20 minutes of walking to even out your day, you'll be happier in the long run.0 -
Love your Lab! Mine is chocolate, of course! :laugh:0
