Maybe a stupid question about spuds.

Are they weighed/measured after they are cooked or before. I'm making sweet potatoes tonight for me (potatoes for the rest of the clan), and for some odd reason that thought crossed my mind! I don't know why. Thanks.

Hrm, I bet they'd weigh about the same before and after. It's not like they lose a lot of fluid or anything... Or do they? I usually just select "large" but I'm not that picky.

And why don't my kids like sweet potatoes? I love them and just don't get it.

I always go with the raw weight, and I have checked before they do go down in weight when cooked.

They weigh about half an ounce less after cooking. So, not a huge difference! Thanks for the advice.
