I have never been the first to post for the runner's! Anyway, hope everyone is having a great fall weekend with a lot of opportunity to get out and enjoy some nice weather. It is cooling off here a little but still mid to high 90's (AZ).
So I haven't run for about a week and today I did some intervals to get back into the swing, ended up with 4 miles in 42 minutes.

No running for me. Taking a day off to rest my shin. I know there are a few of you out there doing races. Good luck to you! :flowerforyou:0

Can someone explain how this virtual runners' club works? I'd like to get in on it, although I only run at the gym and don't do races and such ... yet.0

No run for me; race tomorrow. Drove an hour for a mandatory meeting that lasted 10 minutes and didn't tell me anything we didn't get from the website! :explode:
Anyway, I tried the Stretch video from P90X just to loosen things up. My left hamstring has a bit of a knot in it, and I don't want any problems tomorrow!
Anna: basically we just post our run/or other workout each day. Some people share distance, pace, type of training. Many have great knowledge on how to improve your running, and everyone offers great encouragement! People run outside and on TM both. Post away and welcome!0 -
I woke up late today and had to fill up the car and get groceries and visit my bf and clean my room...and then I didn't have time for my 6 miler before work. :frown: I went to a nearby trail and jogged 1 mi out and speedwalked the mile back just to get something in. Then I did a nice long stretching session so I don't tighten up. I have tomorrow off so i'm getting up early and running the 6 miles on the trail with my bf .0

I am making progress towards my first 10K. We ran over 6 miles today. I ran the first two with out walk breaks but had several throughout the rest of the run. I don't know if I can run the who thing without walk breaks! But we have six more weeks of training. I will be happy just to complete it injury free!
Glad to hear so many people enjoying the Fall weather! It is the best season
