Chili's and other restaurants

I've been noticing a few folks listing Chili's dishes at markedly fewer calories than they actually have. Please make sure you check the restaurant's site for nutritional information (if they have it), and remember that places like Chili's are sneaky--they sometimes list the calories for the parts of a dish separately. In other words, if you have the beef fajita, know that the calories listed don't actually include the condiments or the tortillas also served with it. So what looks to be 390 calories and 1950 (!) mg of sodium is actually another 390 calories for the tortillas and 230 for the condiments, with another 1,520 mg of sodium, for a grand total of 1,010 calories and 3,470 mg of sodium. For ONE dish, not including salads, soups, appetizers, desserts, etc.

Be careful out there--the numbers can be really misleading.
