Hurt foot and workout alternatives

Over the 4th of july weekend I sprained my ankle pretty bad... it is still swollen. I had started my diet and exercise plan about 3 weeks ago losing about 8 to 9 lbs. I would jog for about 20 to 30 minutes at about 6mph. This whole week I have kept my calories lower to compensate because I cannot run.... but I have not lost any weight this week. Is there anything else I can do that has the same calories lost vs time as running does?

Just wondering, any other tips are welcome. Thanks.

    you can sit down and do punches, keep your core tight and cross your arms to the other side of the body while you punch, it will get your heartrate up and work your core and arms... its not a full work out.. but atleast something no?
