Insanity marathon

Anybody here do Insanity or P90x while training for a marathon? If so, what sort of schedule do you keep?

    My girlfriend did Insanity while training for a half-marathon. She just did Insanity, no running. It was her first half and she did great.

    For marathon training, might I suggest doing your regular daily routine of Insanity (whatever the calendar says to do that day) and adding the recovery week DVD to your day. I like to do the recovery in the morning before work to loosen up and warm my muscles, then come home and do the regular workout, whether that be plyo or curcuit. The key is stamina. I will alternate as well, perhaps doing both on one day and one on the other, six days a week, to allow your muscles a rest to rebulid on that one day off.

    This is just IMHO. If you're looking for something more exact, I'd try an expert.
