Best time question

What is the best time to weigh and record on mfp? What I am doing now is weighing 3 times a day and take the average. Am I suppose to just use the lowest, if so this morning I have lost 20 pounds since January.

    I think its best to weigh yourself in the morning on the same day once a week. I feel weighing yourself everyday can get stressful as your weight can fluctuate up to 5lbs per day. Even then, I don't take the number on the scale too seriously. I mainly do it to keep myself on track and motivated. I would suggest weighing yourself once a week.
  • I weigh myself once a week in the morning after emptying my bladder and of course in the nude - If I'm eating right and excersing, there's no need to weigh myself everyday however if I step out of line, I do weigh myself; I want to know how stepping out of line affects me.

    You should only weigh yourself once a week on the same day in the morning after you use the washroom. That's the most accurate time to weigh yourself. I don't think it's necessary to weigh yourself every day, you're just going to stress yourself out with the fluctuations.
