I did insanity for 11 days and noticed my body was starting to feel worn down. On tue i did day 12 and i got REALLY sick... light headed, dizzy, and very very nauseous. I took yesterday off and i was still was getting sick when i ate...but i think today i am feeling better. I know that i have not been getting enough calories in me, esp on tue in particular. But has anyone else experienced that? Is my body just telling me i need a break?

That's not good. You probably aren't getting enough calories. Are you drinking enough water? I say maybe not push yourself so hard and take more breaks in the videos or take a day or two off. Geting nauseous is not normal, but I experienced that too each time I worked out with Insanity and that is why I stopped and that's why I haven't jumped back into it. I hope you figure out what's wrong and feel better.

Thanks... i am horrible at drinking water.. sometimes the only time i drink my water is when im working out! I've always been that way though. i think i need to hydrate and eat and maybe i'll feel better doing the program...

If I ever start to feel dizzy during a workout it's usually because I didn't eat enough during the day BEFORE the workout. Insanity is very intense and you need to make sure your body is fueled for the workouts. Yesterday I got a lil light headed during my Insanity workout because I hadn't eaten enough. So I back off a lil bit on my intensity and finished up. then I made sure to have my recovery drink and some extra protein to get the calories my body needed. ;-)

I have only been dizzy a couple of times and it's becuase I was dehydrated. I have to make sure I drink a ton of water that morning and during the workout too. I don't know about you but I sweat A LOT during these workouts and if I don't have enough water in me, my body tells me pretty quickly.

Having good clean food a few hours before hand is really important too, oatmeal, eggs, cottage cheese etc (I do Insanity around 10am) I like to make sure I am fueled and ready to go :)
