Manually Calculating Burned Calories Using Heart Rate

My burned calories numbers seemed way out of wack, so I checked, rechecked and rerechecked my formulas. Damn. I missed something. It appears that if you don't subtract 55.0969 from the equation, it will seem like you are burning superhuman amounts of calories.

For any of you who are trying to figure out your burned calories manually, the formulas are:
men: C = (0.6309 x H + 0.2017 x A + 0.09036 x W - 55.0969) x time / 4.184.
women: C = (0.4472 x H - 0.05741 x W + 0.074 x A - 20.4022) x time / 4.184

C=Calories
H=Average Heartrate
A=Age
W=Weight

P.S. I have this in a spreadsheet now so if anyone wants it, I'm happy to send it to you. All you have to do is plug in your numbers and it will do the calculations for you.
