    Time for me to move to DC. :)
    I believe it too. When I went, I did TONS and TONS of walking/running to catch metros, to get around, etc.

    I wish there was something we could all do to bring these numbers down.. I hope to do my part by teaching my future children how to eat healthy and stay active so they can pass it on to their children.

    We are a bit lower in Canada compared to our friends in the USA, with an average rate of 24%, but nothing to crow about. Obesity is becoming a global problem.

    Yea Colorado! I think this state consistently has the lowest "fat" rate in the nation...there's so many outdoor activities to do here and a great population actually get out and DO them all year long! Part of that is the weather is so good here...does get hot, but a "dry" hot, and the winters, unless you live in the mtns, are actually quite temperate!
