Good morning!
My arms are shaking right now so this will be a short post for a change. Just did my push ups, level 2 of week 6. I missed 7 on the second set so I am going to do those in a minute to make up for it.
Today we are suppose to go to the Dallas Aquarium if my mom's knee is up to it. So we will get in some walking. That's about it for me today.
I hope you all have a great day! BBL!

Not much going on here. Yesterday I did 40 minutes of easy walking. Today is bike ride to yoga and probably another "errand" bike ride. I found myself looking at other bike rides in the area. I don't necessarily want to get up early and do them, but I was looking for routes. Who knows, maybe in the spring, I do the one through the pine woods (there's a spot 60 miles from town that has a "lost" pine forest, we don't have other pines that grow in the area, so it's a treat to go there).

I don't know how you guys can keep up with the push-ups. I keep thinking I'll start, but I guess my heart isn't in it.

AD - I wonder if there's a book about all the weird festivals through out the country. We have: the Chigger fest (a chigger is like a tick), Spamarama, and Eeyore's Birthday - that I can think of off the top of my head.

    Happy Workouts!

Hi all, I managed to get my hour of cardio in and I've been out with my lawnmower mulching all the leaves in my back yard. Too bad it is supposed to rain here tomorrow or I could be finished with it by then. I'm going to put all of them in the garden and rototill them in. I just stopped for a few minutes to get some water and check the post and now I am off to do a couple of bus runs back to back. See you all tomorrow.

PS more power to you all doing the push ups I know I can't do those. Take care:smile: Karen

So, I'm trying to start each week with a small (hopefully obtainable) goal.

This week, I'm eliminating wheat entirely. I think I've gone a bit crazy with delicious bread, and I have a sore mouth and swollen glands. It's either that I have a touch of something or I really am gluten intolerant. My diagnosis is from a naturopath, so maybe I'll ask my GP to send me for a food sensitivity blood test to confirm. Sometimes I'm "rebellious" and decide "I can too eat sandwiches for every meal!" But, yeah. . .probably not.

If I don't rally later, I may take my day off today. It's very gloomy and I did not sleep very well last night (see "sore mouth" above)

I keep slacking on my pushups. I seem to get to them twice a week but that's not three times.

    So, today is:

no wheat (so far so good at 2ish)
    vits, water and iron

    Take care of yourselves.:flowerforyou:

OK, late night post. I made it to aerobics, screwed around for a while, did my pushups, and then finally left the house so I could spend some time on my project. I'm not sure if I'm exactly making progress at this point... but the weekend away probably just made me lose my brain for a bit. Hopefully tomorrow will be better on that front.

I haven't read the intuitive eating book, but I'm trying to absorb some of the principles via proximity. I haven't logged my food in awhile. I think I am doing reasonably well at eating roughly the right amounts at roughly the right times, but I still basically just eat whatever I can find that seems like a decent option. The idea of being hungry "for" something in particularly is rather foreign to me (even though it's a question my husband asks me several times a week). As a teenage vegetarian in the midwest, I pretty much ate whatever one option (whether provided by my parents, or on a menu somewhere) was available. Alas!

    OMG!

It may just be coincidence, but I finally got my Feliway plug-in today. And right now, the two kitties are lying on the same suitcase! One is in the main part and the other on the lid, but... OMG! They're less than six inches apart.

Admittedly, cats DO love suitcases. :flowerforyou:

Oh, all right - one just took a little swat at the other. But I'm still hopeful.
