My Brother

I was athletic in high school, but after a year of rowing in college got burned out and quit. The freshmen 15 quickly turned into 20 and by senior year things were not looking good. My brother (affectionately blunt) told me if I'm fat now, I'll be fat forever. That was my cue. I stopped eating and started running. Over 6 months I lost 40 pounds and another 10 over the next 6 months. Now, I'm working to maintain or lose a little weight to be more competitive as a runner.

WOW! That is awesome! Not too nice of your brother, but bluntness is sometimes the best thing to get you motivated! Awesome job!0
