Set goal to lose 1 lb or 2 lbs a week?

Hey everyone,
I have been at sort of a plateau for awhile now...I was just wondering in your experience losing weight if it more beneficial to set your goals to lose 1 lb a week or 2 lbs a week???
I just changed mine from 2 to 1 to see if that helps at all.....I am also switching up my workouts. Just curious what works best for others...Thanks!!

    hi there i find losing a steady 1lb per week alot more managable and its more likely to stay off! i tried 2lb at first but I really struggled but since i changed it i am alot happier
