Inexpensive race bike? Suggestions please!

Hi all!

I am a long distance runner who just got persuaded by a friend to register for a duathlon. Problem: I do not own a bike! What are some options for an inexpensive (the cheaper the better!) race bike? I am 138 pounds and 5'5.5".

    I've got a Fuji Newest 3.0. It was about 600, but it's a very good beginner race bike. I haven't raced on it, but I love riding on it! It's lightweight, and pretty quick.
