Does anyone else have this problem? My right leg is way fatter than my left leg, and my left arm is way fatter than my right arm. Like WAY fatter. It's really strange and it's making me kind of self-conscious. When I hold my arms out my left arm hangs down almost half an inch lower than my right arm does :grumble: Will this even out?

I dunno, but i have one butt cheek that's "saggier" than the other....i guess i could try one legged squats?? I'm sure it will all work out in the end. Maybe a circulation problem??

I have a friend who has one calf much larger than the other. Hers IS a circulation problem. I wouldn't worry too much about it if there isn't any pain. More than likely, it'll correct itself over time. However, if you haven't yet, talk to your doctor about it at your next visit.
  • My right "saddlebag" is way bigger than my left :( Makes choosing pants / wearing skirts / wearing short shirts an almost impossibility =\

I'm hoping it will even out eventually!!!

I notice that when I'm doing a lot of resistance training, my right arm gets slightly bigger and more toned than my left. I even try to do extra on my left. Might have something to do with dominant-handedness (or that I use might right more in everyday tasks like eating and writing). It makes sense that, if you're using your right arm more, maybe it's more toned. Don't know how that would translate to your legs unless you also use one more than the other (even in how you sit).

I wouldn't stress to much over it. The only perfectly symmetrical people are air-brushed photographs. As you lose, it may become more even.

I've had as much as a 3" difference between my left arm and my right. It's extremely noticeable in form fitting tops so I wear shirts that are pretty baggy in the arms. Depending on my weight it's been as low as 2". I'm hoping as I lose weight and tone up it will become less of a difference and therefore less noticeable.

    yes,
    and i hate it.
I have one arm, one inner thigh, one calf, and one muffin top zone that are waaaay bigger now that i am bigger. They arent even on the same side!!
When i was smaller the difference was much less obvious. So hopefully that happens again when i lose..
fingers crossed for all of us

easy solution to all these problems is to do weight training and add more weight to the side you want to lose the extra inches in

sometimes blood circulation plays a part but even weight training can overcome this, working a certain area will open up the blood vessels more as more o2 will need to be pumped that that area which will expand the vessels more ;)

My left thigh is like an inch bigger than the right one, and there is like an upper "bulk" of fat that actually makes it bigger... I think it's because one of my legs 5the left one I guess) is slightly shorter. So for the same amount of "material", it just looks bigger. I try to exercise more on that one, but see not much improvement for now... I probably need massage sessions.
