Weight gain from too much water?!

Yesterday I stayed under my calorie limit and drank a TON of water. This morning I weighed myself and I gained a couple lbs. The only thing I can think of is that the water is to blame. Is this normal? This is only my second day tracking my food/water/ intake. before that I hardly ever drank water, so I wonder if my body is still adjusting to the additional amount of water i'm taking in. Has anyone else ever had this issue?
