Virtual Weight Loss Makeover

http://www.goodhousekeeping.com/health/virtual-weight-loss-makeover

Here's a site that lets you see what you would look like at a certain weight. You just upload a photo of yourself and drag the little pointer to the amount you want to lose.

Here's my before and after as a demonstration (Copy and paste the link to see it up close--the first pic is at 163 and the second pic is what I would look like at 135)--

Enjoy! Feel free to post your before and afters!

This is so cool. And I decided I shouldn't lose any more than 5 more pounds or I risk becoming a walking candy apple!

I don't know how to put a picture in here, but I will try!

This was sort of fun! Although, I hope I don't look like this when all is said and done because it just stretched me and I hope to have all the rolls gone once I lose that 70 pounds! :)

The last post on this thread was from 2011. You may have to google to find the current equivalent. Best of luck, it looks like fun :)

Thanks, Kiwiroz. Love this app. Sears website used to have one where you could model clothes before buying.

That's an interesting tool, and I can see how it could be useful. But I think it's a little . . . approximate? ;)

(Sorry, she lost her head a little there when I collaged the two views together - but you get the idea.) This was after messing with settings to get as close to reality as it seemed to want to let me, without creating an account.

It's 183 to 120 at 5'5" in both cases (the real-photo after maybe plus or minus 3 pounds of 120; not sure). I think actual fat me was fatter than the model, and actual thinner me differently-shaped by a bit . . . but I'm sure that's a biased opinions. It would be fun to see other real-life comparisons. :)

That was fun! but I agree with Ann, me at 5' & 180 was considerably larger than the demo! Unfortunately got the pics to prove it....but can't wait to reach my goal based on the demo. Thanks for sharing.

I agree I definetly think I'm bigger then the current avatar. I live in hope one day I will have a real photo to compare against the goal photo o:)

As an aside, I think my face looks pretty bad in the after photo, which was shortly after I reached goal. I think it looks better now, even with 4+ more years of age since goal (there was something like 1-2 years between the before & after, I think). It took awhile for loose skin and glycogen replenishment to smooth/fill out my face a bit. Never going to be Cute-y McCuterson in the face, especially at age 60 (in the after pic, 64 now), and especially when squinting into the sun. I'm just posting because I don't want anyone to think that major face sag is cooked in to weight loss, long-term.

This one woke up two weeks ago . . . and at least it isn't one of the old total-train-wreck threads, like some of the awakened zombies. ;)
