Carbs

Does anyone know if it's okay to go over on carbs as long as the excess carbs are in natural foods such as fruits and vegetables? I can never stay under my carbs for the day because I always incorporate fresh foods like this- which apparently have tons of carbs! Are these carbs going to be affecting my weight loss? Thanksss! :)

You should be OK, I stay on a low carb most days, I try not to eat too much bread, whole wheat pasta and bread is OK within limits, If I eat too much cabs not only do I pack the weight on but I get more hungry and sluggish.

You will get tons of conflicting info on this since topic, but I like to think that if my carbs are natural (aka fruit, veggies) that it's okay....or at least better than the kinds in sugar, bread, pasta etc.

I always go with net carbs. Those are your carbs minus the fiber from the whole natural foods. The Net Carbs number reflects the grams of carbohydrate that significantly impact your blood sugar level. Foods that are low in Net Carbs such as nutrient-dense vegetables and fruits don’t have a significant impact on blood sugar and therefore are less likely to interfere with weight loss. I just found by doing this I am better able to lose weight.
