So today i walked 3 miles in an hour, roller bladed 3 miles in about 20 minutes, and played a little basketball for about 10. My heart rate monitor says i only burned 200 calories after all of that. Is it just me or is that a low count? and also when do you take it off to stop counting because i know calorie burn extends after exercise.

Some brands are better than others, and they are not completely accurate. But you have to make sure you wet the strap well enough, and that it is fit snuggly. if you have one with a strap. If its a pedometer one i wouldn't recommend those they are kind of crap. When i first got mine according to MFP i was burning way more calories than my HRM noted. It just made me work harder to hit my goals, On the plus side, even if it is reading low at least you are burning more calories than you think.0
