Calorie cycling monthly, not weekly?

I'm getting closer to my goal weight and beginning to think about strategies for losing weight slower and then heading into maintenance.
I'm wondering if anyone has any feedback on changing calorie goal each week, so the cycle is over a month not a week - not zigzagging as such but just increasing each week then dropping down again.
I'm 5'4" and currently weigh just over 74kg (163.5 pounds). My goal at this point is 70 kg (about 154 pounds). I've been eating anywhere between 1400-1500 net cals a day and losing weight pretty steadily, more when i stick to a max of 1450 for a week, but it averages out at 1kg (2.2 pounds) per 10 days or about 1.5 pounds per week.
My thoughts are to have a four week cycle- 1450, 1500, 1550, 1600 (net cals per day, for a week) then repeat it.
Any thoughts or comments?
